Executive Managing

Agent - Body Corporate 

Business Meeting

Management Rule 28 of the Regulations to the Sectional Title Schemes Management Act states that the body corporate may, by special resolution, appoint an executive managing agent to perform the functions and exercise the powers that would otherwise be performed and exercised by the trustees.

As an executive managing agent we will manage your body corporate with a professional level of skill and care.

Will inspect the Body Corporate every 4 months.

Will on a monthly basis send financial reports to all owners. This will include feedback on the balance of the administrative and reserve funds with a cash flow statement and reconciliations of every fund.

Will report every 4 months to all owners on the administration of the Body Corporate.  This report will include:

Proposed repairs to and maintenance of the common property and assets of the body corporate to be done in the next four months.

Riaan Oosthuysen achieved his BProc Law degree in 1995 and was admitted as an attorney in March 1997. He worked as a professional assistant at Gouws Attorneys from March 1997, as an associate from March 2000 and as director from March 2001 specializing in Third Party Claims, Suppliers Claims and General Litigation. During November 2001 to November 2004 he practiced as a partner in the firm Oosthuysen, Naudé and Schoeman Attorneys. During November 2004 to 2006 he practiced for his own account as Riaan Oosthuysen Attorneys. During 2007 he joined forces with Elna Oosthuysen to establish Oosthuysen Attorneys. Riaan also successfully helped other estate agencies build their business. Riaan is on a daily basis involved in rent administration, body corporate management.

 

Elna Oosthuysen achieved her BProc Law degree in 1995 and was admitted as an attorney in November 1996, as a Conveyancer in July 1999 and a Notary in September 2001.  During 1996 to 1999 she worked as a professional assistant at Wilsenach van Wyk Attorneys specializing in Bonds.  She attended to Correspondents instructions relating to Consolidation and sub-division of properties, opening of Sectional Title Registers, etc.  During 2000 to 2001 she worked at Gouws Attorneys as their Conveyancer specializing in Opening of Townships and Sectional Titel Registers, transfer of properties as well as bond registrations.  During 2001 to 2006 she practice for own account as Elna Oosthuysen Attorneys being a conveyancing firm.  During 2007 she joined forces with Riaan Oosthuysen to establish Oosthuysen Attorneys..

Rent Administration

  • OPROPSA Attorneys specializes in Rental Administration giving Landlords the peace of mind that the property is managed in an effective manner.
